Delete your account in the app

1. Open Memories in Kaiwai Kaiwai.
2. Open the Settings icon at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Delete account” at the bottom of the screen.
4. Review the information shown and confirm deletion.

What will be deleted

• Your profile, display name, and profile image
• Friendships, friend requests, and blocking information
• Video files you stored in the cloud
• Activity and registration data needed for notifications

Reports needed for safety or legal compliance may be retained to the extent necessary. Completed videos saved by other participants on their devices, and copies made after sharing, cannot be deleted by the Service.

If other participants remain in an active Kaiwai, the creator role and recording turn pass to a remaining participant and the Kaiwai continues. If no participants remain, the Kaiwai is completed at that point.

Before you delete

Account deletion cannot be undone. If you have memories you want to keep, save them to the Photos app from the Memories screen before deleting your account.
